Weekend Poppings

We will be all over the place this weekend. I have been blending away in the Pop Shop all week to prepare for our festivities.

Little Kings - Friday & Saturday 8 - 2

It is Athens Americana Fest, and it would not be a party without some pops! We will be listening to some fine tunes at Little Kings Shuffle Club on Friday and Saturday night with music starting at 8pm. I am most excited to see The Mastersons in from Brooklyn, NY. 

On the Menu: Cash Honey, Big Peppa, Two Lime Crew, Rum DMC, Eazy-T, Mango Was The Case, Lil' Squeezy & ReFresh Prince. 

Before the Saturday Americana shows, we will celebrating spring with the gentlemen of SAE at their annual Shower Cap party. Betsy Kingston & The Crowns will be entertaining the crowds.

High Flying Pops

Canopy Studios is celebrating their 10th anniversary with an Ariel Dance performance this weekend. Canopy will have shows Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 4 & 8pm, and Sunday at 2 & 6 pm.

Hip Pops recently opened a Pop Shop, and we are lucky enough to share a space with Canopy at the Chase Park Warehouse on Tracy St in Athens. Seriously, how fun is it to share a space with a TRAPEZE studio?! Athens is the coolest.

We will be selling pops outside our shop this weekend before and after the Canopy shows. Come by and celebrate with a pop!
